PAFRAS Drop-in

PAFRAS offers casework support to asylum seekers and refused asylum seekers who live in the Leeds area every Wednesday from 9.45am at St Aidans Community Hall in Harehills. Our weekly drop-in is extremely busy and we can only see a limited number of people every week. We recommend arriving as early as possible to give yourself the best chance of being seen.

Professional Referrals

We are currently unable to accept online referrals. Please advise clients to visit the PAFRAS drop-in on a Wednesday at St Aiden’s Community Hall. Please note the drop-in gets very busy so we advise people to come as early as possible to ensure they are seen.

Explaining the UK asylum system

We help you to understand the long and complicated system so you can make informed choices.

Finding legal representation

We can try to help you find legal representation under Legal Aid, if you're not able to pay.

Accessing asylum support

We can help you apply for support and challenge refusals.

Mental health assessment and referral services

We understand that people in the PAFRAS community may need help and support for mental health and general wellbeing.

We offer an assessment and referral service, and we support you to remain actively engaged in the wider community.

Support for young migrants aged 16-24

Young Migrants Matter is a dedicated project for young migrants aged 16-24 years old with an insecure immigration status. 

We offer intensive casework, advice, advocacy and onward referrals. We also organise social and wellbeing activities. For more info or to refer email referrals@pafras.org.uk.
